
Worker2Worker® is a confidential peer support service for employees of the NJ Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) who are routinely exposed to highly stressful situations where the welfare of children is at stake. Our peer support specialists are compassionate and specially-trained retired DCP&P workers who are familiar with your unique challenges. We offer peer support, assessments, provider referrals, critical incident stress management services, resilience-building events, and crisis intervention support.

Our Mission
The mission of Worker2Worker is to support, ease, and improve the lives of those working to protect the lives of children and families in New Jersey. This includes all agencies & offices within the Department of Children & Families. We know that these dedicated staff members are routinely exposed to extraordinary, highly-stressful situations in which the welfare of children and families are at stake.
Free, Confidential Services include:
- Peer support
- Clinical assessments with a licensed professional
- Referrals to local resources for additional treatment and support
- Face-to-face and virtual resilience building events
- Crisis intervention support
- Critical Incident Stress Management debriefings to any DCF Staff who may experience a critical incident while working
